Lian Bichsel scored twice, including the eventual game-winner, as the visiting Dallas Stars extended their win streak to a franchise-best nine games with a 6-1 win over the Vancouver Canucks on Monday night.
Colin Blackwell, Matt Duchene and Jason Robertson each added a goal and an assist for the Stars, whose best previous winning streak was eight games in the 2023-24 season.
Adam Erne had the other goal as Dallas picked up at least a point for a seventh time in its past eight games against the Canucks (6-1-1).
Dallas' Miro Heiskanen and Sam Steel recorded two helpers each, and Jake Oettinger made 13 saves.
Evander Kane scored the lone goal and Nikita Tolopilo stopped 31 shots for the Canucks, who have lost six in a row (0-4-2) and have just two wins over their past 22 games (2-16-4).
Dallas scored twice in a 1:10 span of the second period to open a 3-1 lead and never looked back.
Bichsel put the Stars on top for the first time, sneaking in off the point and snapping a shot from the slot over Tolopilo's glove at 8:31 of the middle frame.
The Stars made it 3-1 on a power play at 9:41 as Robertson one-timed a Duchene feed past Tolopilo for his team-leading 34th of the season.
Duchene made it 4-1, one-timing a behind-the-back, no-look pass from Steel at 1:33 of the third.
Dallas took a 5-1 lead at 5:40 as Blackwell stripped Drew O'Connor of a bouncing puck and beat Tolopilo.
Bichsel added his second of the night, snapping a Mavrik Bourque feed blocker-side past Tolopilo at 15:41 of the third to make it 6-1.
Kane opened the scoring at 7:57 of the first period as the rebound off Jake DeBrusk's shot directed off Kane's skate and past Oettinger.
The Stars tied it 1-1 when Erne's shot deflected off the end boards, hit Tolopilo's skate and went in at 17:40 of the first.
